She was perhaps best known for her writings on miraculous occurrences of faith which she compiled through meticulous research of foreign shrines, churches, convents and monasteries. I really enjoyed carrll historical aspect of the book.
Also featured are detailed black and white pictures of the miracle. The pictures are good, the prose is crisp, and ultimately this book is a whole lot of fun. I am the living bread which come down from heaven. Interesting read that is crammed with carroll of Eucharistic miracles. Would recommend this read for all those interested in the subject matter.
Also, reading these phenomena, one can see how deeply devoted these saints are to God and how deep they can fall in prayer. Fascinating look at miracles of the Eucharist, from early times to the present day. A chapter a week is the correct pace for this book. There have been so many miracles throughout the centuries that no one should doubt the words of Jesus, “This is the bread of heaven; that if any man eat of it, he may not die. In particular, I liked the section at the end about the history of Corpus Cristi and various celebrations around the world. Of course, the Eucharist itself is a miracle, so the book’s title is a little redundant. I have an older edition of the book. I think though, that if you give Cruz time to make her argument that these miracles are real and wonderful you might find the strings of your heart and you imagination eucharistid to at least consider the p A really, eucharistid good book on the topic of Eucharistic Miracles.
I think it would entertain and inspire Christians of all stripes.
